I just don’t know if i honestly have anxiety, i’ve been checked out and all and was diagnosed, but the thing is that even though i have general anxiety, along with social, but somehow i don’t get anything worse than normal stage fright when i get up to present or act or whatever i have to do. does that mean i don’t actually have social anxiety if i can do that, even if i can never talk to people without anxiety attacks?

Dude, don’t stress, you don’t need to fit into the special ‘anxiety box’. Your symptoms are valid. Trust your doctors and such, yet remember that a diagnosis is just a diagnosis, it’s up to you what you do with it. After all, you are the main authority on yourself. If it helps you to embrace it and say “hell yeah I’m an anxiety cat!”- then do. If you’d prefer to go “nah, to hell with that”, then fine. ~~Anxiety Cat xx.
